I'm guessing by the fact that the error is coming from Microsoft.ReportingServices.QueryDesigners that you are trying to run that statement in an SSRS report. If this is the case you will need to change the report designer to DMX mode as the MDX mode tries to check if it's an MDX query that it only has measures on the columns axis and it can't parse the CALL syntax.

What is the connection type I should use in the SSRS report?
for CALL ASSP.DiscoverXmlMetadataFull("Database\Cubes\Cube|Name,State,LastProcessed","")

Normally I'd just use an OLEDB connection and point it at the Analysis Services provider, but the SSRS specific Analysis Services provider should work if you change the query type to DMX (there should be a button in the tool bar that has a pick icon which will do this)
