Drillthrough with time interval

May 9, 2011 at 12:51 PM

Maybe its not as close as I hoped.

I am using the procedure with custom drillthrough a lot and now I have a challenge saying that i want to slice the drillthrough based on time interval.

I had hoped the following syntax would work but it doesnt. Is that due to Analysis Services limitation or am I doing something wrong ?

'call ASSP.ExecuteDrillthroughAndFixColumns("'

+

ASSP.GetCustomDrillthroughMDX(

"membervalue ([$Bilag].[Bilagsdato]),

NAME ([$Bilag].[Bilagsnr]),

NAME ([$Bilag].[Finanspostbeskrivelse]),

NAME ([$Finanskonto].[Finanskonto]),

[Finanspost].[Beløb],

NAME ([$Sted].[Sted]),

NAME ([$Aktivitet].[Aktivitet]),

NAME ([$Formål].[Formål]),

NAME ([$Delregnskab].[Delregnskab]),

NAME ([$STD Spec].[STD Spec]),

NAME ([$Sagsbudget].[Sagsbudget]),

NAME ([$Bilag].[Rejserekv Nr])"

,([Tid].[Tid].[År].[1998]:[Tid].[Tid].[År].currentmember))

+

'")'

That sproc doesn't currently support multi-selects.

The only way I know of to do multi-select drillthrough is mentioned here:

I suppose we could create a new ExecuteMultiselectDrillthroughAndFixColumns sproc that created a session subcube and then ran a drillthrough command. If that's appealing to you, please post back here.

The only other multi-select drillthrough workarounds I know are mentioned in this thread:
